A new month, happily, brings us a new artist to feature in the café! This month’s artist creates practical works of art.
Jeanne Doran hails from Wilton, New Hampshire. She handcrafts bags of all shapes and sizes under the brand name “5 Hearts”. Named for the five members of her family, 5 Hearts pairs beautiful patterns and colors with the quality craftsmanship found only in hand-made products. Sewing is a creative outlet for Jeanne – matching patterns, colors, and styles in the pursuit of a finished product that she’s proud to share with her customers. The sense of satisfaction she feels after carefully crafting a bag is her reward for the time, patience, and love poured into each one-of-a-kind creation.
