Relationship Coffee: Omar Rodriguez, Honduras


As part of our Sundried Coffee Series, this coffee from Omar Rodriguez, co-op manager of Capucas in Honduras offers classic natural flavors of crushed fruit, round body, wine-like finish.


Product Information

Emeran first met Omar six years ago in Honduras. Omar is the co-op manager for Capucas. We have been his guest for the past several years attending the microlot cupping competition. This is the first time we have purchased his coffee. It comes from his La Antena plot of land high up on a mountain side. Check out the video on Facebook with Omar.

About Our Coffee


Certified organic coffee is produced according to sustainable practices, without the use of synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, or other harmful agrochemicals. In order for a coffee to be certified organic, the farm must undergo evaluation from an independent certifying agency. The U.S. has its own organic standards, requiring a roasting facility to be annually inspected and certified in order to be labeled ’organic.’
