Facts
The mash-ups between beer, wine, liquor and coffee have become quite a thing. The craft aspects of all three beverages mirror each other, as the flavor profiles become more nuanced and amazing. As a craft industry, we are pushing the envelope on flavor and collaboration.

Here in New Hampshire, there are new amazing producers of beer, wine and liquor. We are blessed to have a few right in our backyard. Djinn Spirits in Nashua is one such craft distillery. We have partnered with them to produce our very first Barrel Aged Coffee. They lent us one of their used whiskey barrels. After several trials, we have come up with the perfect blend of coffee and whiskey flavor. It takes time and attention to detail to meld these two crafts. We hit the nail on the head with this blend and are thrilled to release our Barrel Aged Coffee. If you love whiskey and coffee, you will love this! Due to the nature of the process, we have a limited number of bags for this run.

About Our Coffee

Organic

Certified organic coffee is produced according to sustainable practices, without the use of synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, or other harmful agrochemicals. In order for a coffee to be certified organic, the farm must undergo evaluation from an independent certifying agency. The U.S. has its own organic standards, requiring a roasting facility to be annually inspected and certified in order to be labeled ’organic.’

Shade Grown

A traditional farming method in which coffee trees are grown alongside other crops under a canopy of taller trees. The mixture of vegetation prevents erosion and protects the coffee from harsh weather. Shade grown farms also provide vital wildlife habitat.
