October 30, 2012

Mark your calendar: Our next artist reception is this Friday, November 2 from 7 to 9
p.m., featuring “Local Color” a Photography Exhibit by Amy Conley. There
will also be live music and a drawing to win a set of cards by the featured
artist (you must be present to win).

Amy Conley is a travelling musician and teacher who enjoys capturing the
beauty of New Hampshire in her travels around the state. She has shot many
images in Milford and surrounding towns and prints are available for anyone
who wants to highlight local NH scenes in their business or home. Water and
its life forms are her favorite subjects and she always keeps her Nikon
camera in the car when driving to jobs.

Amy also sells greeting cards and some postcards, depicting NH in its four
glorious seasons. The cards are available through her website and at Milford’s Postal Center USA.

“My travels are not wide, but they are deep,” Amy said. “I love to examine
nature through the lens, from tiny dewdrops to mountain vistas. I usually
pull my car over when I see a stream or an interesting setting along the
road.  Not all who wander are lost.” Amy is multi-talented and is a dancer
and musician as well as a photographer.

Live music, conversation, and photography celebrating the beauty of New
Hampshire will make this a wonderful evening, please join us.
