There are two reasons why we are excited for our drink specials for the month of June. The first is that we are not only bringing back our highly praised Lavender Lemonade for the summer, but also introducing completely new drinks; these new drinks include our House-Made Chai and Iced Horchata Latte. The second and very important reason why we as a café are excited about the month of June is because all of the specials are made from scratch. Over the past few months we have continued to make more of our drinks without pre-made concentrates and this month we are proud to have all our specialty drinks’ ingredients made completely in-house.
Fresh squeezed Lavender Lemonade
Some may remember our Lavender Lemonade from last summer. Our freshly squeezed, homemade lemonade mixed with a delicate lavender white tea makes for the perfect, refreshing summer drink. The drink has just enough sweet, a tasteful amount of tart, and a subtle floral taste; it truly is a drink anyone can enjoy. Along with this customer favorite we are excited to introduce our new House-Made Chai and Iced Horchata Latte.
Home made Chai Tea
The House-Made Chai has been something that we have wanted to do for quite some time. Veteran A&E employee and Manchester Café Manager, Rachel Niemi, has finally created a homemade chai concentrate that will be used in both hot and cold chai lattes. The concentrate will be featured in the iced, dirty chai style latte as one of the monthly specials and has a very balanced spicy, sweet, and citrus taste.
Lastly, our new Iced Horchata Latte is the brainchild of our other Manchester Café Manager Adrian Wallace. As you may know, Horchata is a traditional Mexican rice-milk drink, making it naturally vegan. Adrian has worked very hard to make a homemade horchata that tastes great blended with espresso. The drink has a very rich flavor- perfect for anyone who wants something cold to sip on.
