Joining Z at the Currier Museum

One of our wholesale accounts, Z Food and Drink in Manchester, was recently awarded the exclusive catering contract for the Currier Museum of Art and we’re thrilled and proud to be a part of that. Starting this week, lunch in the Currier’s Winter Garden will be Z’s brand of “seriously fun” and will feature a delicious menu from Z Food as well as A&E Coffee’s coffee and teas.

The Winter Garden will feature the Z Blend coffee in a coffee roast and an espresso roast as well as a decaf. We think it’s a beautiful, balanced blend with a nice amount of depth.

The café will also serve a selection of whole-leaf teas including: Evening in Missoula, Sencha, Sencha Green, Lyerpadi, Scottish Breakfast and Indian Chai. Future A&E offerings may also rotate into the Winter Garden menu.

I talked to Tom last week and here’s what he had to say about this fantastic new venture:

“It’s going to be a European coffee house/deli vibe. Think of the Whole Foods deli and the A&E café and merge those two into the Currier’s Winter Garden café.

The café will feature sandwiches and composed salads, like pasta and chickpea, made in Z’s signature fresh style. The Z favorite, Chopped Salad, will be served at the Currier but also some Currier-specific items not seen at Z.”

The Winter Garden will also feature a wonderful selection of baked goods and chocolates with a Made in New Hampshire theme, a perfect match for a cup of coffee or tea during your tour break.

One final word from Tom that we can’t help but share:

“We had a tasting for the Currier in January at the restaurant and you came and set up your display and made some drinks. After I signed the contract, I started getting feedback that your involvement was a big part of the decision-making process.”

Thanks, Tom. We’re thrilled to be a part of this amazing opportunity!
